Ministry Overview

Our KNUMC ministries - our Bible studies, Sunday school classes, prayer groups, and outreach programs - are all about expressing our love for God by loving others in Christian fellowship and service.  Below is an overview of some of our ongoing ministry opportunities.  

Sunday school is the place to learn and practice what it is to love people in response to God's love for us.  Therefore, Sunday school is for everyone-children, youth, and adults.

With a variety of classes underway, you're sure to find one just right for you. All our Sunday school classes meet from 9:30 to 10:30. So join us each Sunday for conversational Bible study, Christian fellowship, and the opportunity to grow in faith among friends.

Our KNUMC Choir

Our Chancel Choir is a fun-loving group that is all about singing praises to the Lord. Practices are held on Sundays after service in the sanctuary. If you love to "make a joyful noise unto the Lord," this is the group for you!

 

Children's Music Program
The Children's Music Program is a recent addition to our music ministry. The program is designed for kids 4+ who love music!

United Women in Faith

Our UWiF's focus is on service, missions, and opportunities for women to support God's work and nurture each other. They do this through outreach programs, Bible studies, fundraisers, and an occasional "girls' night out." UWiF meets on the first Wednesday evening of the month at 6:00 pm in the Jubilation Center.

Each Wednesday morning at 6:00 a dedicated group of men meet for devotion, prayer, breakfast, and a lot of laughs. If you're an early riser, this is the perfect midweek pick-me-up. You're guaranteed to leave inspired, blessed, and with a smile on your face.

On the third Saturday of each month, from 7:30 to 10:30 am in the Jubilation Center, the church serves a breakfast buffet for Knob Noster, Whiteman AFB, and the surrounding communities. What began as a KNUMC outreach ministry has grown into a longstanding Knob Noster tradition. Bring your friends and family for some fantastic food and fellowship.

 

Standing In Faith Together (SIFT)
SIFT is a Bible Study held on the 2nd & 4th Wednesdays of each month from 4-5:30 pm. 

 

Men's Bible Study
The Men's Bible Study meets on the 2nd & 4th Saturdays of the month at 7:00am in the Jubilation Center.
